Cogent Financial Services is an Independent Mortgage Broker (IMB) and Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), based near Stratford-upon-Avon. 

What is Independent Mortgage Advice? 
As an IMB, Cogent is not tied to any single mortgage provider.  This means we work exclusively on behalf of our clients and research the whole mortgage market to find the most suitable product for them.

How do you research the market? 
Cogent uses market-leading independent research tools which provide information on thousands of
mortgage products.  These cover Residential and Buy-to-Let mortgages and provide access to exclusive and direct-only products. We use your details to build a short-list of suitable deals just for you. 

How can you help me?
We understand that buying a new home can be stressful and our service is designed to make the process as
simple and pain-free as possible.

Cogent offers clients of Westbridge & Co a premium service package.  This provides:
 
An initial consultation to establish a client’s financial position, objectives and mortgage preferences;
                1) Whole of market research to provide a short-list of mortgage options;
                2) A client review of the options to agree the most appropriate product;
                3) Management of the mortgage application process to include:
                4) completion of all the application forms
                                A) working with the mortgage lender to ensure speedy processing
                                B) providing regular updates to clients
                                C) Liaising with Westbridge & Co. and the appointed Solicitor until the purchase completes
                                D) ensuring all relevant insurance products are in place

What will this cost?
As part of our arrangement with Westbridge & Co, Cogent will waive its normal fees for this service.

Where can we meet?
We appreciate that life is busy, so we try to make things easy for you. We can discuss your requirements over the phone or by email, or we can visit you at home during the daytime or evening. Alternatively, you can visit Cogent’s office which is just outside Stratford upon Avon.

What else can you do for me?
As an IFA, Cogent can also provide independent advice on life insurance and critical illness cover to protect your mortgage liability.  We can also get you great deals on your Buildings & Contents insurance and arrange cover to protect your income (and your monthly mortgage payments) in the event of redundancy or ill health.
